Who are we?

Christians in Scotland... and Friends † is a website hosted by MSN Groups.  In order to join, you must first have what is called an MSN Passport.  This allows you to apply to join any discussion group hosted by MSN.  To find out more about this, click here.

What is our aim?

This group is a relaxed and friendly place, where people can chat, share stories, tell jokes, pray for one another and much more.  It's designed to be a safe environment, where people can grow as Christians or explore their faith.

What about safety?

Safety is a very important part of our lives, and this applies equally to communities on the internet.  When people are in an internet community, it can be an exciting and fun time.  However, the fact that people are anonymous can have a negative side as well as the positives.  Sometime people abuse this anonymity.  For this reason, this community is restricted in membership.  To join, people have to apply to the manager, saying a bit about themselves or why they wish to join.  This has been found to stop 90% of hoax applications and abusive postings. In addition to this, the manager is able to ban any member or remove offensive material, for the safety and well-being of members.
